First time here since they switched up the menu from just desserts. The Cuban sandwich was delicious, the portion size was big also. I had a empanada a as well which was good. The staff was very friendly and polite. A little bit of a wait depending on the time of day you go but well worth the wait. Reasonable prices on their selections. With cherry Coke just do your.

This place is such a gem! I can see why the line is always long. I tried a couple of things: the quesito was perfectly flakey with a creamy filling, the acapurria was fresh and flavorful, the guava latte was to die for. But my favorite thing was the San Sebastián sandwich. It’s hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Love this place!!

The food is amazing, the service is even better, the atmosphere although small feels safe, loving. The staff genuinely cares about the food and customers. Everytime I’ve come in I’ve been welcomed and the food is flavorful and filling. It feels like home 🇵🇷

I visited today with my family for the first time, enjoying some delicious coffee. The San Sebastian sandwich was incredible! We were served by a Colombian woman who gave us 100/10 service. I highly recommend this place—they really make you feel like you're on the beautiful island.

This place is truly a gem! Really good food, everything is made fresh. Pastries are delicious. I found about El Coqui from a friend who picked me up a guava pastry. I just knew I had to come and give it a try. Will definitely be back.

This was our first time trying puerto rican food! We were absolutely blown away. The customer service was so welcoming and helpful! I was admittedly a bit lost but the cashier was very friendly and helped me out with my order. We spoke a bit about the restaurant and the food they offered! It’s actually two different restaurants owned by the same people; one is this cafe, the other is a full blown restaurant. As an Argentinian, I was shocked to see they offered alfajores, so I will be back to try that. Overall I will just be back in general. Expect me

Such a gem in Clifton! The ambiance was so comforting. The coffee was delicious. I got the house coffee but I saw someone else get the guava latte which I will absolutely be ordering next time! I got a breakfast sandwich on pan de mallorca with the garlic sauce (as recommended by Des 😊) and it has become my new favorite breakfast choice. Can't wait to go back!
